Propuesta De Enlace De Fibra Óptica Entre Bogotá Y Santa Marta

Abstract

In this proposal, the planning of a fiber optic link between the cities of Bogotá and Santa Marta is carried out with two intermediate cities where hypothetical points of download and upload of channels are made in the link, with this objective we attend Google maps to observe the existing roads between these two capital cities and also to make the exploration of the two intermediate cities where the descent and rise of channels in the link is made. Once the route is clear, we proceed to establish the necessary equipment and cable, according to the characteristics of the cable, equipment and distances of the links between cities, we proceed to calculate the budget bandwidth and power, according to which the quality of service will be provided in terms of data transmission and signal quality, and finally the cost of implementation, where a budget of the costs is made in case of carrying the implementation exercise to reality.
