Inspección De La Infraestructura De La Red De Alcantarillado Del Casco Urbano Del Municipio De Ortega, Tolima

Abstract

According to (Procuraduria General de la Nación, 2006), In Colombia the municipals percentage with access to the basic sanitation (sewerage system and potable water) is limited. In the municipality of Ortega Tolima the sewerage infrastructure was build in 1945, since then it has not had a significant improvement, however from 2011 there have developed improvement actions (Monroy, 2011), Looking that the information of the infrastructure of the sewerage system in the urban area is not enough, it finds the possibility to make a inspection in the sewerage infrastructure of Ortega municipal, Tolima, then to lay out improvement actions to optimize the sewerage system’s function of the municipal urban area contributing to boost the population quality lives’ in the sector. In the development of this researching work it used the next method: First, to get the plans and make the inspection to the well and drains. The second, fill the surveys with the help of the community, and finally, to make the documentation of the process, to explain the results and recommendations to the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, and the Ortega Tolima municipal mayoral service. It is important to stand out the regular state of the analyzed infrastructure, due to the missing of maintenance, and use time. La importance to build a residual water treatment plant to prevent the diseases to affect the public health and the environment. On the other hand, it is evident the high potable water consumption about which is recommend delve to future studies.
