Abstract

The high energy demand required to power the equipment and lighting of common services of the Nuestro Bogota Shopping Center leads the administration to seek savings strategies for operating expenses of the building, and as the growing occupation of brands and increased traffic in visitors, the rates increase for energy billing for common areas. So the need arises to incorporate a photovoltaic system that supports the electrical network of the mall to incorporate in one of the four electrical substations of the mall, in addition to taking advantage of the spaces in the technical decks, so much so that this use generates economic profitability to the mall. Thus, this document structures the proposal for the design and implementation of solar panels to back up the electrical networks for common services, where a market analysis, project engineering and financial analysis are proposed
