Abstract

This thesis is presented in the Creation or Interpretation modality. In this case, the written document provides a description of the processes developed in the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of two instrumental fusion rock pieces: “Slidey Boy” by Guthrie Govan and “Tempest Pulse” by Greg Howe, arranged for electric guitar, electric bass, and drums. In addition to the technical description, it includes research on music production, which served as the basis for each recording method and electronic element used, covering technical aspects and providing guidance for this process. The focus of this work is the musical production of these pieces, including the entire process of capture, editing, mixing, and mastering required to obtain a high-quality final product in digital format.
