Resumen
In this document the development and implementation of a system is evidenced of electricity generation from the transformation of wind energy into medium of a Savonius type wind rotor of perfect helical geometry, developed by manual thermoforming processes; having as premise its low cost and in order to take advantage of the wind potential of the city of Bogotá D.C, to supply the consumption of a specific area of the productive plant of the company CYGNI Ingeniería SAS. Thus, the development mathematics, the selection of all the elements that make up the system and the subsystems, geometric modeling and general planimetry of the project, developed in the Solid Works design software, as well as the calculations and mechanical developments of the elements that require it, for later perform the construction, integration, assembly and commissioning of the system raised, in order to do this follow up in terms of operation and operation refers; Simultaneously, an economic viability analysis is carried out; finally and after analyzing the aforementioned elements, the respective conclusions that will allow to evaluate the use and real utility of this type of systems in the city.
