El Concejo Municipal de Bogotá se une a este llamado y se compromete a apoyar la finalización del templo. El proyecto recibirá un subsidio de mil quinientos pesos para honrar a Jesucristo en el Sagrado Corazón. Este esfuerzo busca restaurar la paz y fomentar la fe católica en la ciudad.
