Medición y análisis de cobertura de la señal de televisión digital terrestre en entornos urbanos

Abstract

In this project, a coverage study was implemented for the digital terrestrial television network implemented in Colombia, the case study was the urban environment of the city of Bogotá, the current national and international regulations were checked, the propagation models used for the service, then proceed with the development of a geographically located measurement structure, to finally check the service of the city of Bogotá, and to establish the current signal level complies with the level established by the regulations. After that an adjustment was made in the propagation model with which the calculated levels can be represented in a better way compared to the measured ones.
