Resumen
Artistic Studies seeks to expand the range of approaches, crossings and movements to delve into aspects of artistic creation. This artistic ethnographic story was aimed at solving the following research question: What do Danza Común and Cortocinesis, two contemporary dance collectives from Bogotá, understand by body and by training? In the introduction they explain the reasons, intentions and methodological route followed. The chapters and the epilogue give an account of the conceptual theoretical foundation of contemporary dance and the notions of body and training from the perspective of philosophers and artists; the beginnings, experiences and criteria on these notions in the voices of the protagonists/confidants of two dance groups in the city of Bogotá: Danza Común and Cortocinesis; in addition to the vision of the author/researcher. The notion of body is assumed under an integrative meaning of the bodily valences that identify the human being; the need for training as a transformative space-place of the body that we are, especially in the field of artistic expression that constitutes dance and summarized in this work under the definition of corpopoiesis
