Diseño de repotenciación y control automático en el proceso de una línea de peletizado de la Empresa Italcol S.A. Planta Funza.

Abstract

The pelletizing process carried out at Italcol S.A. Funza plant is characterized, where electrical drawings of the existing electrical installation and infrastructure are updated and designed, in order to perform a "Repowering" on pelletizing line 1, power and control equipment is contemplated and selected for project start-up. Automation is performed for the migration of a manual industrial process to an automatic one through the implementation and Ladder programming of a programmable logic device "PLC" connected to a graphic interface "HMI" where analog/digital signals of inputs/outputs involved in the process are identified. The project seeks to reduce electrical failures, improve monitoring, efficiency, control, correction of unsafe conditions and non-compliance with electrical installation regulations that can have serious effects on equipment, personnel and production processes.
