Abstract

This project aims to determine the feasibility of creating an advisory service focused on saving and efficient use of water in the city of Bogotá, considering the high demand for the resource in recent years and the environmental impact caused to ecosystems before, during and after its use, since although the city has an efficient supply system, which seeks to reduce losses throughout the system, inside the houses there may be leaks or excessive use of the resource in the different household activities In this sense, a market study is carried out that allows establishing the potential demand and supply for the development of the project. The focus of the consultancy would be to determine the water consumption of the users, leaks or devices that may increase the cost of the service, the consumption habits in order to apply the measures aimed at the progressive saving of water.
