Resumen
The following entrepreneurial project proposes a business based on the reproduction of exotic fish of the Hemichromis bimaculatus species, commonly known as "Red Jewel Fish", this is part of the Cichlidae family; Due to the fact that it is a little known species and easy to breed due to its high tolerance to various changes in its environment, it will allow obtaining the optimal conditions for generalized breeding in other similar species. For this reason, a reproduction protocol has been generated in community aquariums where it is sought to recreate artificial conditions very similar to those found in their natural environment, in this case, this type of aquarium allows individuals to generate a necessary survival character. to activate the reproductive cycle preventing them from entering a comfort zone in a traditional aquarium. This design and implementation works really well with cichlid fish, generating a safe and constant production and breeding of Red Jewel Fish, taking into account that the conditions provided in the described aquarium will generate a successful reproduction. Likewise, with the aim of selling the specimens in different sectors of the aquarium trade, due to their high demand by the population, since there are few prestigious hatcheries of exotic fish in the Colombian capital, generating that the vast majority of these fish are imported, raising prices in the current market. "Aquarela" is the name of this entrepreneurial project, which offers these fish at an affordable price, standardizing a method of breeding and reproduction from community aquariums in homogeneous conditions, to obtain a moderate number of individuals per litter and thus achieve a successful distribution at a low price in the market, which, with time and dedication, will generate great results. The target audience is focused on commercial businesses that are dedicated to the sale of fish at retail and to the general public, to guarantee a wholesale sale of fish, giving prices that can be considerably low compared to fish of import. In the future, this business will have the sale of different kinds of ornamental cichlid fish, which, due to their high reproductive demands in an artificial environment, are mostly imported, raising their price, but, as they have constant breeding pairs and litters throughout the year, managing to lower the cost and increase the demand for these fish in the market. Because the vast majority of stores associated with the sale and trade of fish are dedicated to distribution to the general public and not to breeding and technical-professional support that "Aquarela" offers, competition is low. In spite of this, it must be taken into account that there are many fish that reproduce and breed easily in captivity, for this reason the effort is directed towards those fish that are difficult to obtain in the market, in order to guarantee their successful sale; Among the methodological aspects, an academic investigation was carried out on the biology of red jewel fish, relating previous concepts and experiences granted by fish breeders, this in order that the fish tank assemblies have the artificial conditions conducive to reproduction and breeding. . Two mounting methods were tested: in the first, nine individuals of "red jewel fish" were accommodated in a tank and in the second method, a community tank with other fish species was organized, the two tanks with similar conditions. At the end of the assembly, it was observed that a successful reproduction occurs in the community tank compared to the specific tank. In order to contextualize the clients with these results, a booklet was implemented with the basic information of the "Red Jewel Fish", with its respective care and maintenance. The idea of the booklet is to be able to explain to the general public and customers how to build, organize and understand their fish tank, with the right individuals and with the right conditions to create a healthy environment for their animals and/or pets.
