Resumen
For all road projects, it is necessary to have the basic design criteria for the section, including the design speed (V Design), type of terrain, lane dimensions, maximum camber, among others. each of the parameters mentioned above are indicated and provide guidelines to establish safety and comfort parameters for each of the users. In Colombia these are defined by the National Institute of Roads (INVIAS) who is the entity in charge of carrying out the studies that define the criteria of Geometric Design of Roads. In order to determine if the widening parameter that is currently calculated is the one that best adjusts to the existing conditions for the interurban Bus-14 vehicle, the AutoCAD Civil 3D software and its Vehicle Tracking tool are used, which allows a series of rotation simulations for speeds between 50 km/h and 80 km/h, likewise the calculation of widenings is developed according to the AASHTO and INVIAS manual.
