Abstract

In this edition of Voces y Regiones, several women from the municipality of Inírida, Guainía, share their life experiences as mothers and resilient individuals facing diverse circumstances. Through their testimonies, the program highlights the importance of equality between men and women, emphasizing equity as a principle of justice that ensures women's well-being in all aspects of life. The discussion reflects on the role of women in the family and household, underscoring their dedication to domestic work, which is often overlooked and not recognized as a fundamental contribution to society. Additionally, the topic of female sexuality is addressed from a rights-based perspective, promoting respect and the autonomy of women in making personal decisions. Another key issue is family planning, recognized as a right that allows women to make informed decisions about their bodies and future.
