Construcción de criterios funcionales de autoguianza en senderos interpretativos para el turismo de naturaleza en reservas naturales de la sociedad civil

Abstract

This research seeks to determine the functional criteria of self-management for the conservation of the interpretive trails in Nature Reserves of Civil Society, based on the definition of nature tourism. Initially, a bibliographic reference base was built from 50 case studies in relation to the conservation of ecological trails, for which databases in English and Spanish were accessed. From this process it was determined that self-guidance tools such as QR codes, mobile applications, augmented reality and beacons are used abroad; but in the country there has been no progress in the development of tools with the use of technology. Subsequently, a matrix of functional criteria for self-guidance on interpretive trails of Civil Society Reserves will be proposed. Nine criteria were identified: Administration, motivations, communicative form, governance, reasons for conservation, sustainability, satisfaction, interpretability and accessibility. With these criteria, a relationship model was designed in which it is evident that the Administration criterion works as the articulating axis, and 32 relationships are established between criteria. Finally, the aim is to define the functional hierarchy of the criteria based on the qualification of a group of experts. From this, the relevance of the criteria was validated, since all the criteria were rated as important by these professionals. In addition, by level of importance, the highlighted criteria are Reasons for Conservation and Interpretability.
