Resumen
The solid residue management system of Bogotá presents a deficient use of organic household solid waste - RSOD, this derives from a failure in the separation at the source due to citizen awareness and culture, in addition to the lack of a plant for treatment or disposal of organic solid waste, this due to the complexity of their transformation. Consequently, the effects emitted by the decomposition of RSOD generate odors, vectors, pests and GHG emissions, which affect human and environmental health. Therefore, it's essential to develop a feasibility study for a microbial decomposition plant that makes it possible to take advantage of household organic solid waste in the environmental management of the Kennedy town, which has 1,252,014 habitants, which produced 538,366 T / day of household organic solid waste by 2019.
