Abstract

During the first semester of 2021, the admissions process for the Doctorate in Artistic Studies at the ASAB Faculty of Arts of the Francisco José de Caldas District University is underway. Professor Pedro Pablo Gómez, coordinator of the graduate program, invites master's degree holders to join the second cohort of doctoral candidates. Applicants may apply for admission through any of the doctoral research lines offered. Admission is biannual and is determined by the Program Council, taking into account aspects such as the number of places offered by the research lines, the theoretical and methodological development needs of the fields of study included in the program, the University's social development policies, and the needs of social research arising from contexts and situations of interest at the national, regional, urban, and local levels. The minimum number of places offered for the program is ten, subject to approval by the Faculty Council. The admissions process consists of three phases: registration, selection, and enrollment. For this cohort, there are 20 spots available. Registration fees apply from April 2 to June 21, 2021.
