Resumen
This thesis aims to propose an inventory management model that optimizes the organization of minor raw materials at the microenterprise Belmoda, which specializes in the production of plus-size women's clothing. Through a detailed analysis of the current state of the inventory management system, deficiencies in the organization and visibility of stored inputs were identified, which affect the company's operational efficiency. The study proposes a structured reorganization of the warehouse through the implementation of shelving, an appropriate labeling system, and a logical classification of materials. In addition, measures are proposed to improve accessibility and reduce search times for inputs, which will result in increased productivity and a reduction in errors. This work addresses the problems faced by microenterprises in the apparel sector, particularly in Colombia, and presents a practical and accessible solution that not only optimizes internal processes but also promotes workplace safety and improves service quality.
