Recopilación e interpretación de 3 obras para percusión sinfónica basadas en músicas tradicionales colombianas

Abstract

This degree work aims to analyze, disseminate and interpret three works originally written for symphonic percussion instruments, created by Colombian musicians and which are based on one of the many music of our country such as cumbia, vallenato, porro among others, these three, selected of a previous process of compilation of works with these characteristics. The dissemination process is part of this work in order to help these works to be a little more recognized in the environment of the percussionist musician in our faculty and in the majority of possible academic spaces. The analysis of the works is focused on highlighting the most characteristic parts of their genre; It is important to highlight those sections that have an air of contrast and the original touch that each composer gives to his work. The work is also focused on the importance of highlighting some of our own and varied musical expressions and their relevance in our academic environments, since, as the author's own experience, during the course of the musical arts career, it was complex find repertoire of this type and much more for percussion instruments.
