Resumen
The image contains news about the circular on the classification of individuals who must provide subsidiary personal service, by article 38 of the law of June 21 on parish administration, all inhabitants of a district obliged to provide the service subsidiary personnel, must be divided by the council into three classes according to their pecuniary powers: those of the 1st, who will be the wealthiest, are obliged to provide up to seven days of work; those of the 2nd who will be those who are in the middle, up to five days; and those in the 3rd who will be the least well off, up to three days. The executive branch has been informed that in some districts, wanting to avoid this service, the councils have attempted not to make the classification that this article orders, but rather to indicate to each individual the maximum amount of work that can be required in the year, the same as the law indicates; and to avoid the evil that may result from this abuse, it is resolved: Article 1 it is up to the councils to make the neighbors obliged to provide personal service, three classes with the names 1, 2 and 3 as provided in the cited article 38 . News published in the Official Registry newspaper, Col. 2, Page 23, Bogotá 1843.
