Botica Social: talleres epistémico-corporales para la autonomía y agencia de la sexualidad

Abstract

Life and sexuality development is based on specific configurations that respond to a sociocultural framework of control that ignore essential aspect os humanity. This research aims to be a critic voice, whose goal is the creation of “Social Apothecary”, made of 6 corporal-epistemic workshops, which have as an action horizon contribute to the Human Development, based on production and resignification of speeches about acceptance of own body, respect for sexuality and pleasure. Methodological design is hermeneutic phenomenological type and carried out by the hand of women workers in the field of social care located in Kennedy locality; their own narratives and collective thoughts about social ills, were indispensable to understanding the ways which sexuality is conceived. In “Social Apothecary”, remedies are elaborated in the bodily experience, as a proposal for the agency and autonomy old people in sexuality, vital area of their development.
