Aplicación web para la gestión de notificaciones y alertas de correo y mensajería push, basado en la integración de servicio Azure en un programa de educación superior

Abstract

The Universidad Francisco José de Caldas is facing a growing challenge in the area of communication and information management. The excess of irrelevant emails, the lack of organization and prioritization of information, and the difficulty in finding crucial data on dates and academic processes, are generating problems such as the saturation of inboxes, the loss of important information and the affectation of user productivity. To address these problems, we propose the implementation of a centralized and efficient information management system that will allow students of the Data Systematization Technology and Telematics Engineering program to access relevant information in an organized and timely manner. The proposed system will be based on a centralized web platform that will serve as a repository of all relevant information for the program, including important dates, academic processes, news and events. The information will be organized in a clear and logical manner, using categories and filters that facilitate the search for specific data. In addition, an email prioritization system will be implemented to highlight crucial information and personalized notifications will be set up to alert students of relevant events. For the development of the system, an agile methodology, such as Scrum, will be used to allow flexible adaptation to the changes and needs of the project. The methodology will be characterized by defined stages of planning, design, development, testing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Regarding the technological tools, tools such as: Angular, Azure, HTML5, JavaScript and Google will be used to facilitate the development and maintenance of the web application, a relational database to store the system information and project management tools for task management, assignment of responsibilities and progress monitoring. Within the modules that were developed, it will be possible to customize the emails that you want to receive in order to have better control and priority over these and the dates of importance for each user.
