Apoyo a la actualización cartográfica de la cabecera municipal del Municipio de Polonuevo en el Departamento de Atlántico

Abstract

The municipality of Polonuevo, Atlántico in the year 2019 has a very outdated cartography, as for the municipal head the plates with larger scale that are found are 1:10000 of the year 1980, this does not allow that instruments can be implemented correctly for the planning of the development nor the territorial ordering of the municipality. This information can be clearly seen in the Municipal Development Plan 2016-2019, which shows maps belonging to the Scheme of Land Use Planning of Polonuevo in 2001, currently this scheme has not been updated for 18 years something that is not practical for local authorities or complies with the rules on this subject. The project "SUPPORT TO THE CARTOGRAPHIC UPDATE OF THE MUNICIPAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE POLONUEVO MUNICIPALITY IN THE ATLANTIC DEPARTMENT" proposes as a solution to this cartographic out-of-date the creation of a basic cartographic of the municipal head at a scale of 1:5000, which is not currently available, which allows the territorial entity to have a useful tool that is of great help at the time of implementing instruments of planning and ordering in its district.
