Ciudad radiante

Abstract

Touring the city, I fixed my attention on the buildings - sealed, intervened and / or abandoned - of the Carrera Décima, and its relationship with the dynamics that develop around it as a reflection of the city's development situation, its historical transformations and contextual that have diverted the attention and use of this important avenue. For the development of the Project, I propose a dialogue between fiction, probability and reality through a series of scale models of some of the buildings on that avenue, which contain a series of videos on small screens. The relationship I establish between these two, suggests a reading of the facade that observes the Carrera Décima and the interior as a detonating that breaks with the expected assumptions, because this interior is a video of the outside, which places the viewer inside the building, as if he were the one inside, looking outside. A game between reality and fiction, between space and time, outside and inside as a way of contrasting meanings and generating questions, an aspiration towards the unknown that refers us to the known
