Formulación del sistema de gestión ambiental para la empresa Fumicun S.A.S bajo los requerimientos de la NTC ISO 14001:2015 y la normatividad aplicable

Abstract

Reducing costs and increasing the profitability of processes is recognized as a fundamental factor within an organization or company. The above, added to the potential representativeness of reducing the negative impact on the environment, regarding its operation, determines the importance of applying management systems within companies, this can be achieved systematically with compliance with the requirements of ISO 14001 of 2015, whose focus is the protection of the environment and the reduction of operating costs within the company. It is important to highlight that it is based on the willingness and commitment expressed by senior management and, therefore, the company, towards the Environmental Management System (EMS); taking into account their autonomy in determining the priority nature of the actions taken to achieve the purposes involved in the approach of the standard. In the company Fumicun S.A.S. the possibility of implementing an EMS is contemplated, because it currently has several actions to be carried out that would allow a better development of its activities and a reduction in the environmental impacts resulting from its processes. In this project, the reference frameworks will be developed to explain the context of the company in question and to demonstrate the processes to be carried out in the formulation of the System.
