Resumen
Due to the communication difficulty that a person with vocal and mobility limitation presents in their upper limbs, the development of a synthesizer system was sought that allows them to have better communication with other people in their environment, which is why, in This document will explain the development and implementation of a text-to-speech synthesizer for people with vocal disabilities and limitation in the movement of the upper extremities (hands, arms). In the development of the synthesizer system, an application was developed which is visualized as a user interface, it mainly consists of a keyboard and a text panel where the user can see what he is creating or writing by using the keyboard. , the development of this application was carried out through the implementation of Python, since it is free software and has various tools for the development of the application, then, a sensor was implemented that would allow the handling of the application in a practical way, to In this case, two mouse adaptations were made, one of them consisted of the implementation of a joystick sensor module with a microcontroller, the second consisted of taking advantage of the optical sensor of a mouse, to which some adjustments were made to adapt it to the situation. that was presented; To the two mouse adaptations made, a structure is conditioned so that the user can manipulate the mouse for the use of the application. Finally, the text-to-speech synthesizer manipulated by means of a mechanical and an optical sensor was obtained, from which it was possible to obtain a comparison of which of the two mechanisms was more practical and of better performance for the use of the synthesizer application.
