Del cielo la música y el Llano la llamó Joropo

Abstract

This work, takes as a creative reference the cultural wealth of the region of the Colombian eastern plains, in the human construction gestated and lived that will serve as an input for the creation and development of this process of interpretation. In preliminary inquiries made since the beginning of the development of this project in the choice of this region (llanera culture); detect the most important and well defined characteristics on which I am interested; the strength and character of its inhabitants, the inseparable relationship between music and dance but above all the existence of two styles of interpretation of the same joropo. The artistic manifestations gestated in the region and which are called traditional, have that component of globality and holism on which I am interested in working; music, singing and the llanero poem, as well as dance are gestated in a complex relationship that also contains a phenomenon of a very specific region: a situation, an intention, a sense, some relationships, a sonority, some actions, a color, a climate, among other aspects that can be found in this sociocultural relationship and that for the product of this study is based my thought about being able to develop from a restlessness or doubt, a form of dance, a culture or a piece of music. Today object of debate between those who interpret from the intention or the experience, whatever their feeling, life, appropriation, knowledge and skill about the old and the modern intertwined in the same existing musical factor and that lasts keeping in constant movement, change and evolution.
