Abstract

During the training process as a Visual Artist I developed different skills, the photography was one of the strengths I wanted to develop. In the last academic semesters I knew the possibility of graduating in the internship mode, I found the opportunity to face directly to the challenges of applying what I learned in the university to practice the profession at my work. In the constant search to find the propitious place to carry out the internships and the subject on which I wanted to focus. From the beginning I thought of a gallery among all the possibilities, being this place where I would encourage my hard work on the photographic knowledge. In this search I found the Galería Sextante / Taller Arte Dos gráfico that part of its projection stands out in the interest for photography that called my attention and interest in the importance of having and developing my passions in this place. Exploring and studying my portfolio and my curriculum vitae, the Director of the Sextante Gallery is interested in accepting me to make the period as an intern and offer my knowledge in the processes focused on photography, leading me to this path that today fills me with pride and gratitude to be able to take advantage of the resources and spaces that the gallery offers me and the interest to venture into everything that refers to photography and graphic work. After participating in artistic processes and completing my internship, I am sure that it was one of the most assertive decisions to close my academic process, feeling the satisfaction of finding what I was looking for, discovering things I did not expect and that now are a blessing for my life.
