Resumen
In an interview, the academic vice-rector of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, Professor William Castrillón, presented a very positive assessment of the institution's participation in the 2018 International Book Fair. Releases and Featured Books The university had a well-attended and successful presence, with the general launch of 77 books through its publications office and the Research Center. Among the best-selling and most well-received new releases were: • "La Paz no se rinde, Crónica de la Habana": Written by journalist Olga Behar, it was the best-selling book and had a very well-attended launch. • "Facetas, las 25 mejores entrevistas": A book from the university radio station, written by journalist Sonia Díaz Granados, which also ranked among the bestsellers.
• "The Language of the Harp in Colombia": By Professor Néstor Lambuley, an outstanding work on the impact of this musical instrument on the construction of Colombian society. • Other best-selling books addressed Latin American thought, with texts on Carlos Gaviria and Michel Foucault. The vice-rector highlighted the publishing house's excellent organization, which is structured into thematic collections to provide better support to authors.
