In this work we study a partial solution, developed by I.M. Isaacs and G.R. Robinson in 2015, of a problem related to the maximal subgroups of a group. In chapter 1 we present the theory we consider necessary to analyze Isaacs and Robinson's article. In chapter 2 we study the article as such. We separate the chapter in three sections. The first one is about a counterexample (A group with two isomorphic subgroups, of which only one of them is maximal), the second one is about the Theorem A, and the third one is about the Theorem B.

En este trabajo se estudia una solución parcial de un problema relacionado a los subgrupos maximales de un grupo, desarrollada por I. M. Isaacs y G. R. Robinson en 2015. En el capítulo 1 se presenta la teoría necesaria para analizar el artículo de Isaacs y Robinson. En el capítulo 2 se estudia el artículo como tal, separado en tres partes. Un contraejemplo (Un grupo con dos subgrupos isomorfos, de los cuales solo uno es maximal), el Teorema A y el Teorema B.
