Plan de manejo ambiental para el cementerio parroquia San Pedro de Usme localidad quinta, Usme-Bogotá

Abstract

The present study addresses the environmental management plan (PMA) for the cemetery "Parroquia San Pedro de Usme" located in the fifth locality of Usme (Bogotá, Colombia). In order to recognize and reduce the environmental impacts that result from the activities (Burial, exhumation, fumigation, sweeping, engraving of gravestones, pruning, and religious ceremony) performed by the establishment. From visits made to the cemetery "Parroquia San Pedro de Usme" it was possible to collect, group and order information, in order to identify the problems presented within the establishment and its surroundings; taking into account this information, the technical, operational, administrative and environmental diagnoses were developed, which helped to carry out a pertinent analysis of the current state of the cemetery, taking into account the current regulations regarding the provision of cemetery services, burial , exhumation and cremation of corpses (Resolution 5194 of 2010), as well as other environmental regulations exposed throughout the document. Through the elaboration of a matrix of impacts and environmental aspects, the environmental impacts produced by the activities carried out in the cemetery were identified and valued; consequently, the formulation of plans and programs that aim to mitigate said impacts through control, mitigation, prevention, compensation and / or protection measures was carried out.
