Resumen
As is known, Bogotá is a city that is in constant development and urban growth, in order to provide comfort and tranquility to its citizens, and for this it uses as an instrument the care and conservation of the environment, improving traffic operations to reduce transit delays and a more efficient daily operation. That is why at present it has been investigated to implement in large cities, main roads that not only communicate the entire city, but also to implement the arteries of said roads. For example, in Bogotá, the aim is to include the AVENIDA LONGITUDINAL DE OCCIDENTE, known as the ALO, in the road infrastructure. It emerged as an alternative road project to decongest the city of Bogotá, in the 60s. In addition, the LAGOS DE TORCA project is currently also planned, the idea is to build a city within Bogotá that provides all its services and well-being to its inhabitants. Likewise, the Lagos de Torca project was presented by the Administration as an initiative that will transform the north of the city with homes, cultural centers, schools and hospitals, in addition to recovering and protecting existing environmental zones. Lagos de Torca has an area of 1,803 hectares, of which 550 are already occupied by schools, concessionaires and other facilities. Of the total, 370 will be buildable, 640 will be recreational and public infrastructure, and the rest is protected land, which will not be affected, but will be protected. But it is now when the district takes into account the importance of conserving wetlands and implementing everything related to environmental parameters that is not only a criterion that must be met, but also benefits the entire community and the entire world by contributing to the environment for means of sustainable construction
