Resumen
The following grade work identifies the step-by-step to develop the structural design of a partially reinforced masonry building with a rigid easy-plate diaphragm; following the design procedure established in the Colombian regulation earthquake resistant NSR-10 for new buildings. A bibliographic investigation of structural masonry is carried out, identifying the necessary parameters, requirements and procedures; on which the respective seismic analysis, verification and drift control must be carried out; and the structural design of the elements that make up the seismic resistance system of the structure, to evaluate its behavior against an eventual earthquake, guaranteeing its functionality. and stability. Finally, the seismic analysis and structural design of a five-story building, which is located in the municipality of La Palma, Cundinamarca, is presented as an example of application, consolidating the corresponding calculations and plans as an annex.
