Viabilidad técnica, económica y social para la adopción de sanitario seco en la zona rural del Municipio de Chiquinquirá

Abstract

The lack of basic sanitation is a problem that affects populations of poor and vulnerable. Deficiency or lack of sanitation causes serious public health problems due to the proliferation of diseases, and also the environment deteriorates significantly. There are some simple solutions, inexpensive, and easy to apply by families and communities that can help improve the quality of life of people and the environment. The implementation of dry ecological toilets (SES) is directed to the solution of social, environmental and health issues in communities vulnerable to these impacts, developing this kind of system of effective, manageable, cost-effective and easily accessible, providing solutions and improving the quality of life of the population in all its aspects. An analysis is necessary to establish the technical, economic and social feasibility of the implementation of ecological dry toilets in the community in the municipality of Chiquinquirá Boyacá department
