Abstract

In an urban university pedagogical context characterized by interculturality, it is investigated the incidence of the Word of Life of Amazonian shamanism Uitoto in processes of intercultural human development of young graduates of the Nacional University of Colombia, located in Bogotá. Through the semi-structured interview, from a qualitative approach and a phenomenological design, the unique life experience of each informant is analyzed, deepening the descriptive inquiry and discovering the main elements in common of their experiences. Through the word of the knowers, the process of cultural transfusion of uses and customs of Amazonian shamanism Uitoto, affects the lives of young informants and the phenomenon of transculturation or cultural syncretism is evident in their processes of intercultural human development. The Medicinal Plants, Coca and Tobacco, constitute structuring symbolic instruments in their changes of world view and their subjective processes of identity configuration.
