Bogotá is facing a problem in mobility, since the main arteries and streets of at least 50 years ago are the same as we have today and the car park has a larger increase annually, which causes traffic congestion and slow traffic, with a minimum pitch speed. Taking into account this situation, a proposal of geometric design at the level of prefeasibility, elevated freeway for Bogota included in the Avenue Boyacá between the 22nd street until the sector 5 ring road, with a length of 18.604 meters approximately is proposed. The project was developed with the procedures established to perform a geometric design of roads at the prefeasibility level, including a digital terrain model, traffic studies, capacity and service level analysis, calculation of material volumes and costs. The geometric design at the prefeasibility level, elevated highway for Bogotá, located at Avenida Boyacá between 22nd Street and 5nd Ring Road, has a design speed of 100 km / h, 3 lanes with a level of service C each they; Has a horizontal alignment of 20 horizontal curves and a vertical alignment of 8 vertical curves. The estimated cost for the construction of the project is 948 243 836 million. Finally, we believe that this project is expected to improve the current mobility problems in Bogotá, increasing the quality of the service level and reducing the travel time for the displacement of the inhabitants of the Colombian capital.
