Abstract

As a person who inhabits the city, I am a witness to an environment and a time in which it seems that we have less and less time, perhaps because we understand it as a valuable resource and losing it means less money, I have suggested that in this panorama in which we live the contemplation of the moment appears as a possibility of the experience, in which we enter by letting ourselves be tempted by events that take place in the city and that for a moment break our accelerated and saturated rhythm. The moment is an experience in itself, a state of abstraction of the world, there time can be experienced under another rhythm within the period that the natural course of the day bursts, an example of this is to provide a moment to observe the light that enters through every corner and window of the city with a movement so slow that it can only be perceptible with the passing of the hours. Addressing contemplation as the main theme, I propose a piece in which a simple movement is generated with a device that emanates light, which will allow it to be slowly discovered until it reaches its total opening movement, with the purpose of making the event is evident to anyone who wants to spend time contemplating it.
