Resumen
In this work, an approach and characterization of the operation of lithium ion batteries is carried out, taking into account the different studies carried out with batteries, as well as the most safe and current materials used, State of the art of batteries. It also deals with the different characterization methods that exist, which are presented with a comparative table that allows a convenient analysis and search for whoever requires them to use. In this work, the loading and unloading characterization method is deepened, as well as the x-ray images, which allow to observe the internal structure, behavior and operation of ion-lithium batteries under different loading and unloading regimes And thus determine which are the changes that occur internally and future pose different types of materials that allow the battery does not deteriorate so much when subjected to overload or overload. The results obtained in this work are presented by means of tomography images, where the internal change of a lithium ion battery is observed, which was loaded with a charger built in the research group of thin films and nanofotonica of the Pontifical University Javeriana and where there is a wear in its structure especially in the sheets of separation of the battery.
