Caracterización de trabajadores de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José De Caldas

Abstract

The Universidad Distrital Francisco José Caldas is an institution of higher education located in the capital of Colombia, Bogotá. The university seeks to build professional leaders within society and encourages healthy competition within the academic and university world in order to create exemplary and exceptional individuals for the benefit of society. However, there are different dependencies that allow the operation and development of the university, within the administrative plant of the university there are a total of 1153 workers that make up the plant and which allow to carry out the functions of missionary and operational character of the university. Despite the importance of the active workers of the university, the general or individual needs of each one of them are not known, that is why the objective of this research is to make a characterization of the workers of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas in order to identify the fundamental variables within a characterization of this group belonging to the university. In order to carry out this characterization, a systemic review of the literature was carried out, which allowed the identification of the variables required for the characterization of the workers who are directly linked to the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas and, likewise, it was possible to design and apply an instrument for the collection of information that allows correlations between the individuals of the community. After the application of the instrument for the characterization of the workers of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, different information was gathered that allows understanding the needs of the workers and whose conclusions can be converted into research within the university.
