Propuesta para gestión y control de la información espacial (GDB), alfanumérica y temática de la cartografía base de isa para incorporación en el Sistema de Información Territorial para la Construcción y Operación - SITCO

Abstract

This document is intended to prepare a proposal for the organization and structuring of the geographic information of the base mapping of ISA INTERCOLOMBIA, through the specific regulations that address the metadata issue, this with the implementation of NTC 4611, 5043 and 5660 reference to geographic metadata, data quality and quality assessment respectively. All in order to establish a reliability of the information and its incorporation into the Territorial Information System for Construction and Operation (SITCO). However, the analysis of geographic information in the company is only a start of the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in this, so it seeks to show the importance of updating the GI (geographic information) and make SITCO a large, more powerful and reliable document repository, in turn to transcend and bring it to the public in the future and that is not of simple institutional use, for which a previous analysis and ordering the information is necessary since the company due to its popularity in the electricity service business, it requires that everything be under a regulation and under the proper guidelines and standards.
