Resumen
In this section of Voces y Regiones, the interviewee, a member of the FDH Foundation, shares the story and mission of the organization, emphasizing its human-centered approach and commitment to women's empowerment. The foundation was created as a response to the social needs of vulnerable communities, promoting equity, inclusion, and capacity-building.
A key aspect of their work involves training programs carried out in partnership with the Universidad del Norte. These initiatives aim to provide educational and professional tools to women leaders and community mothers. The training is focused on improving the quality of child care and support, strengthening the role of community mothers as essential agents in early childhood development.
The FDH Foundation’s approach combines technical education with a focus on care, gender equity, and human rights, contributing to family well-being, the empowerment of women, and social transformation at the community level.
