La mayoría de la Corporación considera que el gobernador debe continuar en su cargo, ya que ha logrado mantener el orden público y disfrutar de garantías bajo su administración. A pesar de la solicitud de renuncia, se reconoce el patriotismo y la capacidad del gobernador para cumplir con sus deberes.
