Abstract

The image contains news about Mr. Lazarettos. director of opinion, my dear sir and good friend: No letter of the many that I have received this year with alms and proposals favorable to the work I have in hand, has caused me as much surprise as the one I have the pleasure of accompanying you, so that, if you deem it appropriate, you can advertise in your newspaper, either in its entirety or even in the main part. The common prisoners of the panopticon who spontaneously think of their brothers and friends of mine in the contract lazaretto, have offered to give a theatrical performance to present little works made by themselves, and that for the total benefit of the lazaretto, and without me or anyone else! gave them the most insignificant indication.
