Resumen
In recent years, bicycle theft has been increasing significantly in the city of Bogotá, with an average of 21 robberies per day according to figures from the District Secretary for Security, Coexistence and Justice. Taking into account that Bogotá is the world capital of the bicycle and the city with the largest number of kilometers of bike paths built, it is essential to guarantee biciusariums the necessary security for the daily use of this non-motorized means of transport. For this reason, a web application is designed to mitigate such problems, with the current location of the stolen vehicle as support. The location record can be consulted in a geographic viewer that will work through a cloud server connected to the GPS device strategically installed on the bicycle. Once the alert signal is received, the non-motorized vehicle will be tracked through a Geoservice with a follow-up duration of up to 9 hours according to the capacity of its battery.
