Resumen
Due to the rapid changes that have occurred due to climate change, Colombia is one of the countries most affected by being located in the tropics, where problems have been observed in public health such as the emergence of tropical diseases that have expanded for much of the country. Due to its climatic variety, we find that departments such as Tolima have presented an increase in the number of cases reported for tropical diseases in which the Chikungunya virus is present, such as in the municipalities of Melgar, Flandes, Ibagué and El Espinal. For this reason, a methodology is proposed that allows studying and determining the relationship of the climate with the spread or distribution of the virus by the transmission of the Aedes vector mosquito (A. aegypti and A. albopice) in possible climatic conditions. future.
