Resumen
In this project, the optimization of the preparation of the Environmental Compliance Report (ICA) at Frontera Energy was addressed, specifically in the section on the use of natural resources, with the purpose of reducing repetitive manual activities, decreasing assembly errors, and improving process traceability; to do this, it was first understood how the ICA is structured, how information is organized by file and period, and how sources such as IRIS, which concentrates operational information and reported supporting documents, and the GDB, which gathers geographic, regulatory, and documentary information, interact. Based on that understanding, the solution was planned under the PHVA cycle, defining a scope adjusted to the internship period and prioritizing the most critical components in terms of time and information dependency, so the work was not limited to the construction of chapters in Word, but rather focused on recurring official formats such as ICA-2a, ICA-2b, ICA-2f, ICA-2g, ICA-2h, ICA-2i, and ICA-4a and ICA-4b, and finally a solution was developed within the Microsoft ecosystem, made up of Power Apps as the interface, Dataverse as the central repository, Power Automate for flow orchestration, Databricks for data preparation, and an artificial intelligence component to support content generation, whose validation was carried out through internal and functional testing with HSEQ, making it possible to adjust and stabilize the solution and move forward in a measurable way on the prioritized scope.
