Resumen
It is not easy to describe the moment of being on stage and dancing, being another person, a character, transforming and interpreting with full responsibility what the choreographer asks of you. My feeling when I am up there is like a lion that comes out of my chest as the curtain rises, and I am alive. I could talk about sincere sensations, established salons, primordial moments of the body adapting to techniques, wonderful and creative moments of performance that I made a reality in this space that belonged to me, that I cannot detach from myself. But today I am going to talk about the body, yours, mine, and that of others. Dancing with this body of mine, so mixed that it wants to tear at the earth and attach itself to it to detach, suspend, and then remain motionless, dancing with other Latin American bodies in Santiago de Chile, perceiving them just like mine, pointing to the Andes Mountains and feeling that infinite force that is contagious, bodies in the subway that become confused with each other. Disturbing to search for foreigners in mestizo dancers, of thirteen dancers one has the biotype for ballet; now that the past presents itself clearly, I call on those who train not to allow one to recognize themselves in the mestizo roots of a body that asks to dance its reality and inside knows it will not be a dancer of the Bolshoi.
