dc.description	Esta investigación trata de comprender el fenómeno de la Danza Oriental en Bogotá, realizando un estudio de su historia, su desarrollo y sus prácticas actuales, donde se pretende condensar el comportamiento de la danza oriental, y las diferentes manifestaciones que esta pueda tener, analizando su proceso de instalación y adaptación de un género de danza de origen remoto y aparentemente aislado de la cultura colombiana. También se estudia y se desmitifica los diferentes imaginarios que se le han atribuido a esta danza, lo cuales están cargados de estereotipos construidos por la televisión y el cine, de lo que las personas identifican como “lo oriental” construyendo una imagen frívola y superficial de la danza oriental y de quienes la practican.	spa
dc.description.abstract	This research seeks to understand the phenomenon of Oriental Dance in Bogotá, conducting a study of its history, its development and current practices, which aims to condense the behavior of oriental dance, and the various forms that this might have, analyzing their installation and adaptation of a dance genre remote origin and apparently isolated from the colombian culture. It is also studied and different imaginary that have been attributed to this dance, so which are loaded with stereotypes constructed by television and film, what people identify as "oriental" built a frivolous and superficial image demystifies oriental dance and its practitioners.	spa
