Yūgen: Creación y análisis de 3 obras musicales inéditas del género progresivo instrumental

Abstract

In this work, the compositional aspects of 3 unpublished musical works that are part of the work developed with the Relative Values project will be analyzed. It will seek to expose with precision all the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic elements that were used in the creation of these works, as well as some programmatic elements (extra musical) that were vital to shape each work. It should be noted that the musical works presented here are created for a single format that consists of 2 electric guitars, bass and drums, to which are added various elements designed to be reproduced through a sequence, and belong to the musical genre Instrumental Progressive Rock. On the other hand, some details related to the production and post-production process of the tunes will be given, without ignoring that the analytical approach to the creations shown is the most relevant aspect of this degree work.
