Resumen
At present, different studies have been developed and investigated about the emotional impact of users in different social networks, these studies have been carried out in China, India, and the United States with the help of sentiment analysis and Natural Language Processing. In addition, sentiment analysis has as its main use digital marketing, with which it is easier to identify the consumption preferences of users and there is no use to predict illnesses or mental disorders such as depression. Taking into account that Twitter is one of the most widely used free opinion social networks today, it is also the one that allows explicit, complete, and uncensored publication. It is possible to obtain this type of information that can be provided through the official API (Application Programming Interface), to later be stored and analyzed through sentiment analysis and in this way identify the emotional impact on Twitter users. located in Colombia because of COVID-19.
