According to the scope and previous studies of the contract, it is justified that the RENEWAL OF THE CAN INTERCEPTOR, THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A REINFORCEMENT INTERCEPTOR, EXPANDING THE HYDRAULIC CAPACITY OF THE CAN SUB-BASIN – LOCALITIES OF TEUSAQUILLO AND ENGATIVA, by which it seeks to correct failures in the operation that currently presents the sanitary interceptor CAN, where there is a deterioration of the infrastructure of the collector, since these failures are related to the decrease of the efficiency of the system, which could generate public health problems in the area of influence, infiltrations of wastewater in the soil and increase in the costs of operation and maintenance of the same.

De acuerdo a los alcances y estudios previos del contrato se justifica que la RENOVACION DEL INTERCEPTOR CAN, MEDIANTE LA CONSTRUCCION DE UN INTERCEPTOR DE REFUERZO, AMPLIANDO LA CAPACIDAD HIDRAULICA DE LA SUBCUENCA CAN – LOCALIDADES DE TEUSAQUILLO Y ENGATIVA, por la cual se busca corregir fallas en el funcionamiento que presenta actualmente el interceptor sanitario CAN, donde existe un deterioro de la infraestructura del colector, por cuanto estas fallas están relacionadas con la disminución de la eficiencia del sistema, lo que podría generar inconvenientes de salud pública en la zona de influencia, infiltraciones de agua residuales en el suelo y aumento en los costos de operación y mantenimiento del mismo.
